wine description

  • Deep, dense ruby red with garnet reflections.

  • Extraordinarily complex bouquet with notes of ripe sour cherry (Picota), blueberries and cassis, complemented by Mediterranean herbs, undergrowth, black pepper, clove and fine mocha nuances.

  • Complex, vibrant, and enveloping at the same time. Perfect balance of freshness, structure, and elegance. Silky tannins, enormous depth, and a very long, noble finish.

  • Exclusively from the best grapes of the single vineyard La Plana (40 ha), planted in 1950, at 485 m altitude in the highest zone of Finca Ygay (Rioja Alta). Pure self-management.
