Spaghetti alla Chitarra – Pasta di Gragnano P.G.I. from traditional production

Pastificio Ducato d’Amalfi's Spaghetti alla Chitarra are similar to classic spaghetti but have a characteristic square cross-section – a shape originating in Abruzzo that absorbs sauces particularly well.

Made as Pasta di Gragnano I.G.P. from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and spring water from the Monti Lattari, the dough is pressed through traditional bronze dies, creating a rough, porous surface. Slow, gentle drying over several days preserves its aroma and structure. Finally, it is hand-packed in plastic-free cardboard boxes.

Serving Suggestions

Ideal with seafood sauces, veal ragout, or a hearty tomato sauce with meatballs. Also excellent with Sugo alla Norma or classic ragù variations.
