Vesuvio – Gragnano P.G.I. Pasta from Campania

Vesuvio Pasta di Gragnano I.G.P. from Pastificio Ducato d’Amalfi is a homage to one of Italy's most famous landmarks: Mount Vesuvius in the Gulf of Naples. Its distinctive spiral shape deliberately evokes the volcano and symbolizes the deep connection of Pastificio with its homeland, Campania.

This special pasta is made from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and pure spring water from the Monti Lattari. Like all authentic Pasta di Gragnano I.G.P., the dough is extruded through traditional bronze dies. This creates a rough, porous surface that absorbs sauces particularly well and brings out their full flavor.

The subsequent slow and gentle drying over several days ensures excellent cooking stability, a perfect al dente bite, and a full-bodied, authentic pasta aroma. Vesuvio is not only visually appealing but also a true piece of Italian pasta craftsmanship in terms of taste.

An exceptional pasta shape for those who appreciate traditional quality with character.

Serving Suggestions

Ideal with a classic tomato sugo and basil, with Mediterranean vegetable sauces, or simply with good extra virgin olive oil and freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano.
