Sicilian herb sea salt from the Trapani salt pans

Frantoi Cutrera's Sale marino aromatizzato con spezie ed erbe siciliane comes from the traditional salt pans of Trapani on the west coast of Sicily. The coarse-grained sea salt is still harvested by hand there and processed gently.

After harvesting, it is refined with carefully selected, wild-dried Sicilian herbs and spices such as rosemary, oregano, thyme, sage, marjoram, chili, and dried lemon peel.

The result is a balanced, intensely fragrant sea salt blend with a typical Mediterranean character – spicy, aromatic, and natural.

Serving Suggestions

Ideal for seasoning meat, fish and vegetables, for grilled dishes, baked potatoes, Mediterranean stir-fries or as a finishing salt just before serving.
